SEE THIS FILM : Inside Daisy Clover
I just love this movie. It stars Natalie Wood as Daisy Clover, the amazing Ruth Gordon (of Harold and Maude) as her mother, and Robert Redford as Daisy’s, secretly gay, lover. Daisy is 15, and gets her big break in Hollywood as a film actress and singer. The movie follows her journey 2 years through her life in Hollywood, where she experiences the highest highs and lowest lows.
I really related to this movie, because I, too, have experienced that typical Hollywood story of success and rejection. It does a great job of showing the ugly side of the town that only cares about money in the end. It’s a fickle business, and this film depicts what it can do to a young spitfire with great talent running wild with a dream. I definitely recommend checking this film out at your local movie store.
